2025 APPLE PIE BAKE-OFF OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS.

ELIGIBILITY: The Wickford Appliance 2025 Apple Pie Bake-Off is open to residents of CT, RI & MA within our normal delivery area who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. There is no purchase necessary to enter. Cannot enter no purchase necessary contests and giveaways by mail, phone, in-store, or by any other means external of the official online form. Prize must be claimed and delivered or picked-up within 30 days of winning unless otherwise specified by Wickford Appliance. Void where prohibited. Employees of Wickford Appliance, and any of its affiliated organizations and vendors, along with their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings and guardians) and/or those living in the same household as each are not eligible to win. If the winner does not agree to have their photo taken with Wickford Appliance staff members and/or themselves [the winner] standing by their prize in-store at Wickford Appliance which will be shared publicly on Wickford Appliance social media channels and within emails to customers for promotional purposes or future event promotion the winner will be disqualified, the prize forfeited, and a new winner selected. By participating, all individuals who enter, engage, or interact with any Wickford Appliance Giveaway or Contest (collectively, “Entrants”) agree to be bound by these Official Terms & Conditions and our website's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. All contests and giveaways are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

PRIZE DETAILS: Three (3) regional winners will be selected in the Qualifier Round to each receive a $1,000 in-store Wickford Appliance credit. One (1) grand prize winner will be selected in the Bake-Off Finals to receive a $3,000 in-store Wickford Appliance credit. Please refer to “CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION” below for additional details.

RIGHTS TO REPURPOSE PHOTO OR VIDEO CONTENT: You agree to allow Wickford Appliance to film and photograph you baking in-store and to use any content obtained, including the photo required when claiming your prize, to be utilized by Wickford Appliance in ways including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram posts, on our website, and within TV and web commercials. If you have any concerns with this, please refrain from entering this contest.

HOW TO ENTER: Entrants can only enter by way of the online form found via https://wickfordcares.com/apple-pie. Please see “ELIGIBILITY” section for additional details. Three (3) contestants per bake-off location (North Kingstown, Pawtucket, and Westerly) will be selected at random to bake their Apple Pies between 9am and 11am on Saturday, November 1, 2025 (for the Qualifier event) for a total of nine (9) initial entrants. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void. Limit one (1) entry per person. Contestants selected at random from the entry pool will be contacted by email on Saturday, October 18, 2025 to participate and must reply back with confirmation by Monday, October 20, 2025, or within 48-hours of being contacted. If they fail to write back or confirm, another contestant will be selected, and the same timeframe rules will apply (they must respond to our email within 48-hours of being contacted).

HOW THE WINNER(S) WILL BE CHOSEN: A panel of in-store judges will taste-test each apple pie baked in-store by the Entrants, and determine which they enjoy the best. Their vote will be hand-written, and entered into an entry box or container. The votes will then be read out loud and revealed to the Entrants. The Entrant with the most votes will win.

HOW THE WINNER(S) WILL BE CONTACTED AND FACEBOOK SPAM WARNING: Winners will be notified of their winning status in-store at the time of apple pie taste testing, and also announced on the Wickford Appliance Official Facebook Page - Facebook.com/WickfordAppliance - which you can determine both by Username / URL and also by our META VERIFIED BLUE CHECKMARK. We never ask for Credit Card Information or Phone Numbers as part of notifying our winners. If you receive an Email, Text Message, Web Form, Facebook/Instagram Direct Message or Comment of any kind indicating you have won a prize which asks for payment details, your phone number, or similar, please be aware this is NOT OUR TEAM; DO NOT SUBMIT CREDIT CARD DETAILS. Please report the user to META directly and block their account(s).

PRIZE DELIVERY: If the prize is not eligible for pickup and/or is not designated as a pickup-only prize, prize to be delivered on a date agreed upon by Wickford Appliance and the winner, within the Wickford Appliance normal delivery area, based on the Wickford Appliance delivery schedule. Additional taxes and fees may apply for any and all additional required parts, fittings, or reinstallation charges, for example, reinstallation of a Gas Range, Gas Dryer, or Dishwasher. Additional delivery charges may be applicable for deliveries outside of scope of normal delivery; please see Wickford Appliance for normal delivery details (first floor within normal delivery area). Prizes must be claimed and delivered within 30 days or the prize will be forfeited, unless otherwise specifically noted. See Wickford Appliance for complete details.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION, INDEMNIFICATION, AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Prize is not transferable. Prize has no cash value. For instances where the prize is an in-store credit, it must be used on the purchase of a single item, unless agreed upon by Wickford Appliance and the winner. Unused credit amounts will not be provided to the winner in the form of a cash prize, and are ineligible to be held to use at a later date in partial form. When the prize is an in-store credit, if the winner has made a purchase during the entry period, they may opt to have the credit applied to their recent single-item purchase vs. selecting a new item/prize. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Wickford Appliance, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining all online contests and giveaways. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Wickford Appliance and its agencies to use winner’s name for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By entering any contest or giveaway held by Wickford Appliance, or by accepting and claiming any prize, Entrants and winners alike agree to hold Wickford Appliance, its respective owners, directors, officers, vendors, contractors, employees and assigns, harmless for any injury or damage of any kind caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the contest or by use of the prize, including as a result of the use of in-store appliances for in-store baking contests and similar. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this promotion or by use of prize. Winners must respond to prize notification no later than the specified date in each online contest and giveaway when applicable otherwise their prize will be forfeited. Wickford Appliance is not responsible or liable for computer error or any technical malfunctions of the Internet Service Provider's (ISP) network. Wickford Appliance is not responsible for illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Wickford Appliance which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of all online contests and giveaways, Wickford Appliance reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. In the event the online contest and/or giveaway must be cancelled for any reason, all Entrants will be notified via e-mail, or via Facebook public post. Entrants shall indemnify and hold Wickford Appliance, and each of its members, employees, officers, agents, vendors, and similar harmless from any and all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, demands, suits, expenses, and any other out-of-pocket costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses), monetary or other, which Entrant may incur or be liable for arising out of any claim by Entrant, or third party claim made or brought against Entrant or similar, based upon or arising out of: (a) any Entrant Action, including damages incurred by Entrant as a result of providing Credit Card details to those impersonating Wickford Appliance online; (b) manufacturer defects in prize, including recalls, whether addressed or not by Entrant, or improper use, installation, or maintenance of prize; and (c) any allegations that any information provided by Entrant infringes or violates a third party’s intellectual property rights.

DISPUTES: As a condition of participating in all online contests and giveaways, Entrants agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the online contest and/or giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively, before a court. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will Entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages or expense incurred, including attorneys' fees.
